Our minimum weight is 40lbs. Depending on the weather and child weight, the child will ride tandem on some ziplines with another child, adult, or guide, as long as the weight does not exceed 199lbs.

You should arrive at least 20 minutes before your scheduled zipline adventure tour.  For all other adventures, please meet at our outpost at your tour start time.

For ziplining, you are welcome to bring your own gloves, but leather gloves are provided, sunscreen, chapstick, sunglasses. Closed toed shoes are a must Since we operate rain or shine, please prepare for this by wearing non-cotton clothing (keeps you warmer and drys quickly). Please dress in layers since the weather changes quickly in the mountains. Bring a reusable water bottle with a clip, that can attach to your harness with water.  If you do not have a water bottle or a clip for your water bottle you can purchase one on-site.  Snacks and extra water are provided along the course.

Yes, we suggest booking at least one week in advance, but we do take last minute reservations, if there is availability. We operate rain, snow or shine and mountain weather can be unpredictable. Rarely must tours be cancelled due to inclement weather so please dress appropriately. Rain jackets and/or pants are great!
If inclement weather occurs, we reserve the right to first delay the tours for up to one hour. Please keep this in mind when planning your tour. Cancellations are a last option. In the event that we must cancel a tour, we will provide you the option for a full refund or to reschedule. If you have completed part of the course and the course must be closed due to inclement weather, the cost of the tour will be prorated and refunds issued, or we will work to reschedule the tour at another time. What matters most is that our guests have a safe and enjoyable experience. If you have questions about weather, please call. We will only call you if we know the tour will definitely need to be cancelled or rescheduled.

Participants should be aware that there is a 15-20 minute hike up our nature trail to where the zipline tour begins. This includes gaining approximately 400 ft. in elevation starting at Durango’s elevation of 6500ft. We do take it slowly but for some this could be challenging.

No unattended minors are allowed on the zipline property.  Ages 15 and under must have a paying zipline parent or guardian ziplining with them.  Ages 16-17 the parent or guardian does not have to zipline but must be present on the property.

Maybe. We may be able to go one to two pounds over the weight limit, but this is NOT guaranteed. There are a few different variables that will decide this (ex. temperature, moisture in the air, etc.). The warmer it is the stricter we are with the weight limit. We will privately weigh everybody on-site with clothes and shoes (not zipline equipment). If you weigh more than 230lbs, your adventure is 100% non-refundable.

The minimum weight to ride alone and not in a tandem varies from day to day. Typically, if the child weighs between 70 to 100lbs and the conditions are just right, they will be able to ride by themselves. If not, they maybe have to tandem for a few of the ziplines and ride a few ziplines on their own. For safety reasons, this will be decided by the guides based on a variety of variables the day of the tour.

Other children and guides may be able to ride tandem with small kids (must be at least 40lbs) as long as the combined weight does not exceed 199lbs. For safety reasons, the combination of the tandem or if a tandem is needed, will be decided by the guides based on a variety of variables the day of the tour. Typically, we tandem other children together or with another guide. A parent typically will not be able to ride with the child.

If someone is your party chickens out, it is non-refundable.  Please keep in mind, we have been open for 10+ years and had MAYBE a handful of clients chicken out. The guides make you feel very comfortable and are very patient.

Why not? We operate rain, snow, shine, Fall, Summer, Spring, AND Winter! Yes, winter! Snow covered trees are gorgeous! Just wear your ski clothes or dress in non-cotton layers.
